Joypea is the porch of this machine. It keeps a loud public face and a quiet room behind a hatch.
The face is printed matter that learned to glitch: lime ground, cut letterforms, registration marks, hazard tape. Hover a control and it misregisters. Click it and the frame stutters, then settles.
The room is the deck. Notes, the house services, and the passphrase live there. They are not part of the public band.
